Eucharist
The Eucharist is what the catholic faith centers around. It is the true body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is not a symbol. Jesus said," I am the bread of life, (Jn 6,48),"" I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst (Jn 6, 35),""I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I give is my flesh for the life of the world (Jn 6, 51)."
Many Non Catholics today take Jesus's word as a symbolic meaning. Jesus never meant for it to be symbolic. He says in (Jn 6,53-58) "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
Most Non Catholics are not taught about (Jn 6). In fact Protestant preachers are taught to skip (Jn 6) or just pass it off as symbolism. I challenge you to read this chapter and compare it to non Catholic religions. The Catholic faith is centered around the Eucharist. When Catholics go to mass they are going because of what is in (Jn 6) where Jesus himself institutes the Eucharist. And plain as day Jesus says you need to partake in this sacrament if not you have no life.

The Last Supper
Every Christian is familiar with the last supper. But are you familiar with the covenant? God told Noah about the flood coming, God also told Noah to build and ark. At first Noah did not want to build the ark, eventually he took action and he was saved. Most Non Catholics today believe in the Faith alone
(sola scriptura). They believe that all they have to do is study the bible
(that was compiled by the Catholic Church in 400 A.D) and believe in the Word of God. What if Noah would not have taken action on what God commanded him to do. He would have died. God made a covenant with Noah to never destroy the earth again by flood. This is now shown to us by the rainbow.
The word of God came down to earth in a human form another time. When Moses received the ten commandments. That was the word of God put in simple form so we could understand it. The next time the word of God comes to us is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the word of God made man. Jesus Gave his life so that we may have life, but if you don't take action and participate in the covenant Jesus created you will not have life with in you. What is the word of God? The word of God is Jesus and Jesus is here right now waiting on you. All you have to do is go to your local Catholic Church and you will see for yourself.
In
(Mt 26, 26-29) Jesus himself begins the covenant. When he dies on the cross Jesus says it is complete. This means that the covenant is complete. Catholics believe that the Eucharist is the actual presence of Jesus Christ. Our mass revolves around the Bible and Eucharist. Everything except the priest's homily is taken directly from the Bible. Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd,
(Jn 10, 14-17).
